Eden Spectrum

Design cost factors, in ascending order of importance:  lot size, the agreed number of rough drafts, the particular governing body(s) of your community, amount of hardscape elements,  presence of reclaimed water, proposed grade changes, presence of accurate architectural and grading maps and, finally, the percieved ease with which i, melton Hatch, can communicate with you on the important issue of style.

The typical design process will include one, two, or three rough draft meetings.  Roughs include conceptual renderings in standing view (of hardscape features) as well as 1 - 3 to-scale bird's-eye views.

Final drafts include:  Plant layout, irrigation (sepperated by plant type, not geographically), drainage, low-voltage lighting, plant list (latin and common, qty., size and irrigation valve assignment), and multiple view details of structural elements and technical drawings for special drainage / construction elements.
Your style may ultimately require a novel label, or not demand one at all.  Style origins and ingredients for eden spectrum designs have included:  Shinto, tropical, sub-tropical mediterranean, early 20th cent. So. Cal neo-classical, english formal, english perennial, french neo-classical / federalsit, SIerra, japanese park, riparian natIVE, arid native,  courtyard italian and tuscan estate.

esd is certified by several jurisdictions for reclaimed / recycled water irrigation design.
